Synchronizing process failing, even though it completes on my brothers' accounts on the same PS3... Is the work around simply not buying Aurum? Their accounts have never bought or spent Aurum. I have and my account is the only one that won't synch.

Just posting to confirm that DoubleTap's work around worked for me as well: taking my PS3 to my brother's house with a 5Mpbs download speed internet connection got me past the 12% synch stall.
